Located in the Hyogo Prefecture, Kannabe Highlands is a beautiful Japanese countryside area with four distinct seasons. The air, always crisp and clean, green mountains, rice patties, cherry blossoms, and beautiful snow. The fall brings the coming of the beautiful cherry blossoms to the area. The winter brings good snow with three different ski resorts to choose from. Hiking, biking, kiting are various activities can be done in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.
The famous Kinosaki onsens are only about 30 minute drive north. One can continue another 30 minute drive north to enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches scattered along the Sea of Japan.
